Corporate Marketing Partner CASE STUDIES:
Back-to-School Backpack Drive
To support school-aged children living at our residential properties, Mercy Housing and U.S. Bank partnered to provide free backpacks and school supplies to school-aged children at select Mercy Housing properties. U.S. Bank volunteers distributed the backpacks and school supplies to children at special events in Nampa, ID, Kent, WA, Denver and Chicago. The backpacks and school materials were supplied through a collaboration between U.S. Bank and non-profit, Schoolhouse Supplies.
Results: Through these Back-to-School Backpack Events, U.S. Bank was able to provide over 500 backpacks to school-aged children in need.
||Mother's Day Campaign
For Mother’s Day, Mercy Housing and Nestlé Family partnered to celebrate mothers and help give the gift of hope to women and children in need. Using a Facebook app, participants could thank their mother for all that she does by creating a customized photo tribute. For each photo tribute created, Nestlé Family donated $1 on each participant’s behalf to help moms and families in need through Mercy Housing. Donations were powered by the number of photo memories shared by supporters.
Results: Through this cause marketing campaign, Nestlé Family was able raise $25,000 for Mercy Housing which was used toward critical in-residence programs such as after-school activities, health and wellness initiatives including nutritional counseling, financial stability classes and other programs.
||Awareness and Goodwill Campaign
Knowing the importance for Mercy Housing residents to be able to connect with their family, friends, employees, and others, Cricket Wireless partnered with Mercy Housing to provide 100 cell phones to residents in Colorado.
Results: Cricket Wireless has been featured at the opening celebration of Mercy Housing’s Bluff Lake at Stapleton and featured in media outlets, and announced to Mercy Housing donors through our rich array of communications vehicles.
