MHC RECEIVES $150,000 FROM WELLS FARGO
Wells Fargo announced grants to 20 housing nonprofits across California at Mercy Housing's Westbrook Plaza in San Francisco
Mercy Housing California (MHC) is extremely pleased to announce renewed and increased support thanks to a $150,000 grant from Wells Fargo. The grant was awarded as part of Wells Fargo’s Welcome Home program. The funding will support MHC’s new affordable projects in development in 2012.
“We are thankful for our partnership and that Wells Fargo shares in our mission to provide affordable housing to those who need it most,” said Doug Shoemaker, MHC President. “This award will help expand our efforts to do just that.”
MHC has demonstrated its expertise as an affordable housing real estate developer, a commitment to sustaining and revitalizing communities through extensive outreach, advocacy and successful collaborative partnerships with organizations like Wells Fargo.
“One of the ways Wells Fargo supports our communities is by funding nonprofits that improve people’s lives,” said Michael Billeci, president of Wells Fargo’s San Francisco Bay region. “We are glad to provide a grant to Mercy Housing California and fund their affordable housing projects in development throughout California.”
