Clark Commons

Lake Oswego, OR 97034
Join Mercy Housing Northwest as we celebrate the groundbreaking of our first affordable housing community in Oregon! Located on the historic Marylhurst University Campus in Lake Oswego.
The event will feature speakers and partners who have been instrumental in making this exciting new community possible. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to tour the future site and meet Resident Services staff who will be available to answer questions about the service-enriched programs that will be offered to residents.
Marylhurst Commons will feature a three-and-four-story U-shaped building with 100 affordable, energy efficient apartment homes. 80% of the homes will be 2- and 3-bedrooms, meeting a critical need for affordable family housing in the Portland metro area. There will also be a community room with a kitchen, and a technology center for residents.
Before closing in 2018, Marylhurst University was one of the oldest colleges in Oregon. Initially founded as St. Mary’s College, it was run for many years by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.
