The Power Of Home Fundraising Breakfast 2019
October 4, 2019
8 – 9:15 a.m.
The Westin Seattle Hotel
1900 5th Ave.
Seattle, WA 98101
We invite you to join us on Friday, October 4, for our 10th Anniversary Power of Home Breakfast. The breakfast is Mercy Housing Northwest’s sole annual fundraising event, providing support for our Resident Services programming. Each year, hundreds of supporters come together to learn about our work to create safe, healthy and vibrant communities in Washington State.
Mercy Housing Northwest is home to more than 5,000 children and families. With onsite supportive services, such as after-school programming and health and wellness classes, our programs are designed to help individuals and families find stability and thrive. Each and every day, Mercy residents continue to inspire us with their stories of courage and hope.
This year, we will explore how housing is a platform for education and equity with featured keynote speaker Clint Smith, an educator, author of Counting Descent, weekly contributor to the podcast, Pod Save the People, and co-host of the podcast, Justice in America. Clint is also a 2014 National Poetry Slam champion and a 2017 recipient of the Jerome J. Shestack Prize from the American Poetry Review.
