Denver, Colorado (11/14/14)–This year U.S. Bank has partnered with Mercy Housing as part of the Mercy Housing Home Is campaign. This campaign launches in November during National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week, and runs through the holiday season. The campaign will run from November 17, 2014 through January 9, 2015.
The National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is held the week before Thanksgiving to allow individuals throughout America to reflect on what they are thankful for, and to create a time for them to show their compassion for their neighbors experiencing homelessness right in their own backyard. This year, National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week will be held from November 15-23, 2014.
U.S. Bank and Mercy Housing are committed to bringing a greater awareness to communities across the United States and helping promote the national endeavor to end hunger and homelessness. When people don’t have to worry about the safety and affordability of their home, they can focus on gaining new career skills, helping their children succeed in school, and becoming involved in their communities.
