Nov 16Support Mercy Housing for #GivingTuesday on December 1
Mark your calendar to support Mercy Housing for #GivingTuesday on December 1, 2020. This year after Thanksgiving there are three important days to remember, Black Friday…Cyber Monday… and Giving Tuesday. After two days of shopping, donors are provided a day to give back and come together to support nonprofits throughout the country like Mercy Housing.
In the week following Thanksgiving, Americans spend millions of dollars in their shopping frenzies around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year on #GivingTuesday donate to a worthy cause. This day reminds us that giving means much more than the exchange of material goods. By donating to Mercy Housing on you are helping Mercy Housing continue to change lives and revitalize neighborhoods by providing safe, quality, service-enriched housing.
Mercy Housing partners with a community and makes a long-term commitment, resulting in positive, measurable outcomes for residents and neighborhoods. We serve as a catalyst, bringing together resources and talent in ways that can change the face of affordable housing and homelessness. Mercy Housing’s work spans 41 states and serves more than 152,000 people across the U.S.
Mercy Housing needs your help. Every night, more than 610,000 U.S. residents are homeless.1 Families make up 36% of the homeless population in the United States.2 With your help on #GivingTuesday, Mercy Housing will provide more service enriched homes to the growing number of people in need. We are working to alleviate poverty and strengthen families, seniors, and people with special needs by providing affordable housing where people can stabilize their lives and reach their full potential.
On December 1, don’t forget to visit www.mercyhousing.org/givingtuesday and give what you can. If you would like to give ahead of time you can visit the website early and donate to Mercy Housing. Even a donation of $10 will help so many families, seniors and people with special needs this holiday season. Support Mercy Housing and #GivingTuesday!
