KidVantage, formerly Eastside Baby Corner, helps parents and caregivers access the resources they to help their kids grow, play, and learn. They do this by providing essential care, safety, and health goods for children who are experiencing the stresses of economic security, systemic inequities, or family disruption.
Founded in 1990, KidVantage partners with more than 80 school districts, health, and human services organizations (including Mercy Housing Northwest), early learning centers, and food banks. In 2022, these partnerships translated to more than 11,000 households served.
Of the 110,000 diapers that KidVantage distributed last year, 50,000 were given to Mercy Housing Northwest thanks to a grant made available through King County. This donation of goods meant one less thing for brand-new parents to worry about during a period of economic uncertainty.
On behalf of Mercy Housing Northwest, we want to thank KidVantage for their partnership and work on behalf of our youngest community members.
