Wells Fargo welcome home grants support communities across the region

Mercy Housing Mountain Plains is grateful to Wells Fargo for its continued investment in affordable housing and residents across our region through the Welcome Home Grant program. This year, Mercy Housing received a total of $85,000 to support our work in Colorado, Arizona, and Nebraska, providing resources for property improvements, resident programs, and other investments that strengthen the communities we serve.

In Denver, seniors received household essential bags filled with cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and other everyday necessities. Funding also supported a new pergola at Francis Heights, giving the resident services team a dedicated outdoor space to host programs and take advantage of beautiful Colorado days.

In Tucson, a food pantry received a much-deserved expansion to better serve the seniors who call Western Winds home. More than 80 household essential bags were also distributed to residents at each of our five supportive housing properties across the Phoenix metro area.

In Omaha, we received our first Welcome Home grant from Wells Fargo. Funds were used to enhance an outdoor community area at Timbercreek Apartments with new furniture and games for residents to enjoy. Additionally, we were able to complete security improvements at Crestview Village, including upgrades to existing security cameras and new lighting around community spaces.

We are especially grateful for the Wells Fargo employees who have volunteered alongside Mercy Housing teams and residents in enhancing our communities.
