Oct 29Kudos for The Carlton
We were honored with The Polk Bros. Foundation Affordable Rental Housing Preservation Award for our preservation and rehabilitation of the Carlton Apartments in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. On June 26, the Real Estate Development team received the prestigious award at the annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards (CNDAs).
68 homes preserved
This award recognizes the incredible work done by Mercy Housing Lakefront and its many partners to preserve 68 homes for individuals with extremely low incomes, many of whom have experienced chronic homelessness and/or live with a disability. As a result of this work on an aging property, vulnerable residents will continue to have access to affordable housing and supportive services that help to address their needs and challenges for many years to come.
