Nov 02FNBO Impact Grant – Midwest
We’re excited to share that Mercy Housing Midwest received a $20,000 2026 FNBO Impact Grant to support its Resident Services Financial Wellbeing Program at Timbercreek Apartments and Crestview Village in Omaha, as we have in Lincoln. The grant will allow Mercy Housing Mountain Plains to expand the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program into Omaha, giving eligible residents access to individualized financial coaching and resources to help them reach their goals and build long-term financial stability.
Through FSS, Mercy Housing residents work one-on-one with program staff to set goals around employment, education, savings, debt reduction, credit improvement, and overall financial wellbeing. In partnership with Compass Working Capital, Mercy Housing Midwest will provide personalized coaching, resource navigation, and opportunities for residents to build savings and assets through the program’s HUD-funded escrow incentive. This investment will help residents take meaningful steps toward greater financial independence and economic mobility.
